OUR STORY

We didn't set out to build software.

AccountingBPO is an accounting firm. This is the story of why we ended up building our own — and why we're now looking for partners to build what comes next.

Page 1 — We didn't set out to build software. Our accounting firm serves clients who each run different accounting systems, databases, spreadsheets, email and documents. That fragmentation meant nobody could tell who was handling what, what needed approval, or who was overloaded. Migrating every client onto one platform would mean disruption, retraining and risk, so instead of moving the data, we decided the work itself needed to connect across the systems that already worked. That's why we built Yi.Flow — a coordination layer above the systems we already used, connecting tickets, tasks, chat, team load and approvals without touching the underlying accounting systems, databases, spreadsheets, documents or email. Yi.Flow was built for our own firm first. Page 2 — From our firm to yours. Yi.Flow connected the work without replacing the systems that already worked, so one task and one discussion gave our Singapore, Vietnam, India and Korea teams shared context, and clients got faster, clearer replies. We then realised this wasn't only our problem — every accounting firm and every corporate finance team we spoke with described the same fragmentation. We already work hybridly with our clients' finance teams, and because the task itself carries the discussion history, handoffs between our accountants and a client's finance team don't lose context. So we share our journey and help others build theirs: accounting expertise plus system integration — connect what works, build what is missing. Page 3 — Why not go further? Yi.Flow showed the work, but our managers wanted visibility into what was happening inside the other applications behind it — Yi.ncome (database and transaction activity), Yi.mport (data processing) and Yi.nform (IFRS financial compilation). Rather than making managers check every system separately, we pushed each application's operational status into Yi.Flow, so the applications stay separate but the manager sees them together: team load, tasks and deadlines, transaction activity, processing status, compilation progress, and which items need attention, all on one dashboard. When managers asked to also flag items becoming stuck, we added that too. Yi.Flow was built with our managers, and is improved by our managers — it keeps growing with the way finance teams actually work. Page 4 — Finale: let's connect the dots. We started by solving problems inside our own accounting firm, in Singapore, Vietnam, Korea and beyond, but our ambition didn't stop there. Every business already has information scattered across sales, marketing, operations, logistics, manufacturing and finance — finance is what connects business activity to financial consequence, turning data into context, judgement and management intelligence. We don't want to build every system ourselves; we want finance to connect the dots between tax, payroll, audit, payments, forecasting and ESG — their systems, their ownership, connected, not replaced. So we're looking for partners: technology firms with specialist tools and integrations, accountants and accounting firms with applications and professional knowledge, corporate finance teams with real problems across existing systems, and local and enterprise partners with market knowledge and scale. Bring your technology. Bring your expertise. Bring the problem you've already solved. Built for cross-border finance — know first, act faster. AccountingBPO × Yi.Suite × Partners.

Let's connect what we've built.

If you're a technology firm, an accounting firm, a corporate finance team, or a local partner who's already solved a piece of this problem — we'd like to talk.
